The Bad Update exploit has just given birth to a payload named FreeMyXe, developed by InvoxiPlaysGames and emma, this payload allows to add certain advanced functionalities to the hypervisor and the kernel of the XBox 360 console, thus allowing it to execute unsigned code.
FreeMyXe improves on the Bad Update exploit by making it easier for you to:- Unlocking certain functions such as removing certain checks (for example XEX or even live signature). – Removing the CPU key from the console.- Dump your Xbox360’s Nand memory, very useful for backup and restore.- Using emulators, games and alternative dashboards like Aurora, XEX Menu, or Simple 360 Nand Flasher. Temporarily the console therefore allows you to run quite a few things, such as the ability to launch unsigned code, but the big limit lies in the fact that everything disappears once the console is turned off, and above all that the game “Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland” must be installed on the console’s internal hard drive.
