Developer skyfloogle of Red Viper, an emulator dedicated to Nintendo’s Virtual Boy console, has announced a series of improvements and bug fixes in its latest version 0.9.8. According to him, these updates make Red Viper the most accurate Virtual Boy emulator to date.

Here are the main improvements made:- Improved timer emulation: This fix addresses issues with playing sound samples in Galactic Pinball and Teleroboxer games.- Added memory access time emulation: This fixes many games, including:- Sample playback in Virtual Bowling and Niko-Chan Battle, in addition to improved timer emulation.- Better emulation performance in 3D Tetris.- Correctly emulated game speed in Golf.- Fixed an issue where the Blox 2 intro would cut off prematurely.- Fixed graphical and sound intro bugs: Fixed visual and sound issues with the intro in Waterworld.- Improved audio emulation: These fixes provide better support for some homebrews, including Blox games and the Formula V demo.- Compatibility with saves from older versions: It is now possible to load saves from older versions of the emulator.With these development advances and improvements, Red Viper positions itself as the reference for fans of the Virtual Boy console on 2DS and 3DS, offering a more faithful and stable gaming experience. Red Viper is one of the best current restitution solutions, even ahead of RetroArch by relying on the 3D capabilities of the 3DS.
